At the 2013 Geneva Motor Show Dodge has displayed few cars of its extensive range, including a SRT Viper, a Ram Laramie, a Dodge Charger and a Dodge Durango. Queen of the stand and most admired of the Dodge bunch is the SRT Viper, on display in a striking red colour with silver stripes that highlight its sporty stance and racing character. Completely renewed compared to the previous generation, the new Viper is 45 kilograms lighter and, at the same time, comes with a frame with a torsional rigidity 50% higher than the standard model, thanks to the use of new materials and a new construction development.

Driven by a powerful 8.4-litre V10 engine delivering 649 hp and 815 Nm, the SRT Viper relies just on the rear wheels to deliver power to the engine. In America, the SRT Viper is on sale at $ 97,395, about £65,200 in its standard version, but if you want to grab yourself a SRT Viper GTS you have to be ready to splash out $ 120,395, about £80,700.
Dodge Charger, heir to the iconic car of the Sixties, is offered in the new Sport AWD all-wheel drive version, which promises to maximize overall safety and road holding of the new American sports saloon. Available with a 3.6-litre V6 engine with 300 horsepower and a 5.7-litre Hemi V8 unit with 370 hp, the car can be purchased in a variety of productions, including the sportiest R / T Road & Track model featuring few changes in terms of aesthetic and mechanics, which emphasize dynamism and driveability. Top of the range is Dodge Charger SRT8, fitted with a 6.4-litre V8 engine that delivers a whopping 470 horsepower.
