And famous designer Italian coachbuilder Pininfarina is the 2013 Geneva Motor Show to introduce the Pininfarina Sergio Concept, a modern interpretation of the 2-seater boat named after the man who led the Pininfarina for 40 years and designed some of the greatest legends drive. Universally known as master of Italian style, the signature of Sergio Pininfarina-son of the founder, Battista-left an imprint on the history of design with his creative genius and the concept car revamps dedicated to him the spirit of extraordinary achievements under his leadership.
The Pininfarina Sergio Concept is a compact, sporty two-seater barchetta based on the Ferrari 458 Spider , mechanical, (including the impressive 3.8-liter twin turbo V8 engine). Overall, Sergio offers the performance of a true sports car, with a torsional rigidity which is even higher than that of the spider that comes from thanks to downsizing and a reduction of the total mass of about 150 kg. This allows for good management and further improvement of acceleration: 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time is estimated to fall below 3.4 seconds.
On its stand in Geneva, Pininfarina has introduced the new model next to one of the most loved Ferraris of Sergio: the Dino Berlinetta Speciale, a unique template presented at the 1965 Paris Motor Show, which led to later production cars Dino.
